International SEO

One program, 30+ countries. Search behaves differently in every market, and the craft is building a global system that respects that.

The Work

For a decade I've led Lenovo's international SEO: one global program operating across 30+ countries, leading the international SEO team and coordinating with regional marketing organizations worldwide.

International SEO at enterprise scale is a resource-allocation problem as much as a technical one: every market has different search engines, languages, competitors, and revenue potential, and the program has to decide where investment actually pays back. I drive those strategic investment decisions across global markets, backed by performance data rather than market-size assumptions.

That global instinct carries into my independent work too. 4ort.news monitors world news across 65+ languages every 15 minutes, which is the same discipline international SEO demands: treating the non-English web as a first-class citizen.

Capabilities

  • Global program architecture: structuring SEO ownership, workflows, and standards across dozens of country sites
  • Market prioritization: ROI-driven investment allocation across markets with very different economics
  • Global-local coordination: central strategy with regional execution, plus the stakeholder management to make that work
  • Multilingual optimization: hreflang, localization strategy, and international site architecture
  • Cross-market analytics: normalizing performance measurement across countries, currencies, and platforms
  • Team leadership: a decade leading and developing an international SEO team
